Heeeeere's Jesse...
Jesse, a fellow grieving Mother.
My traveling companion on this ghastly journey.
Her boy Gidi killed in a boating accident at almost 5 and my boy, Luke killed by overdose at 23, died 3 weeks apart. Timing is everything.
Jesse appears often in my blog because she ignites a distillation of my emotions.
Wherever she is I am not far (usually 3 weeks) behind.
Like those friends we have because our kids are the same age… Jesse and I are bonded, because our grief is the same age.
Jesse wrote the book that she needed for her children and Gidi’s little friends.
And here she is on a podcast talking about her book… and so much more.
Whether you grieve a little one or a big, tall, hairy one, or don’t know what to say to someone who does … there is so much for you here.
Jesse, I wish I had never met you.
BUT/AND I couldn't wish for fiercer support in my agony…
You make my world sparkle.
