Yep.

The first birthdays and death days are filled with emails, messages, phone calls, FaceTimes.
No more.
It’s quite the contrast.

Was all the noise for him?
For me?
For them?

Is he forgotten?
Am I forgotten?

Has my grief reached some statute of limitations?
Is it not to be ‘encouraged’?
Would a message stir things up?
For whom?

Realizing, without malice, that for most, Luke’s death is something that happened.

and, for me…
It’s still happening.
